This hand made stained glass daffodil is made from individually selected glass , they have been made using the copper foil technique ( similar to the Tiffany light shades)

Please note that each daffodil is unique and all glass may differ slightly in colour and design/pattern/ shade for each piece. Each item has the glass selected, cut and then foiled and soldered. Your daffodil is finally cleaned and polished ready for careful packing to send to you.

The dimensions of the daffodil (as displayed) are 8 cm by 15.5 cm - at the widest points

Each item comes with jute string for hanging, if you wish we can change the jute for a similar shade of ribbon/ string as your item (please let us know in the notes section of your order if you would prefer ribbon / string)

The daffodil is the token flower for St David's Day which is celebrated on March 1st. The daffodil is also the flower for people born in March. This flower is associated with many things from the month of March, especially rebirth and new beginnings. In England, it is believed that if you spot the first daffodil of the season, you will have great luck for the rest of the year.
